| We firmly believe that there are few pleasures in life as cheap, easy,
and fun to share as can be had by plastering the world with interesting
posters. Lots of people put up posters but because they get caught
up in bizarre rants, self-referential hubris, lies, or poor spelling and
typesetting, the point is lost and all you end up doing is wasting time
that could be spent drinking or smooching (arguable among the other finest
pleasures life has to offer). But a good poster, that's witty, simple,
and well laid-out can catch the eye and soothe the savage brain. If you
do them right they can be, well, interesting, or thought provoking, or
anyway befuddle the hell out of our fellow men and women. And there's
really no other way to get so much fun out of so few dollars. Then there's
the immortality and stuff. A few posters now and then might add up to
at least making a momentary but worthwhile impression on an otherwise
mundane day.

There was a big stink about unauthorized use of Carleton's logo a little while ago, but presently that's all behind us, and we have a new logo now. Our posters are fun and harmless, aside from whatever papercuts they might give you. Sometimes they are political, sometimes immoral, sometimes sarcastic, and sometimes they're just downright up to no good, but they're never libelous, poisonous, or dumb.
